I signed up as a Chicago Marathon Runner for the American Cancer Society today. A great cause and great motivation for my training effort too! ACS hopes to have more than 1,200 charity runners representing the charity in 2008, raising over $1.7 million.
Click on the links on the right to learn more about why I'm running to benefit ACS, and to donate. My personal goal is to raise $3,000. I want to raise $3,000, lose 30 pounds, oh, and finish the Marathon!

On a separate note, it's bitterly, bitterly cold in Chicagoland today and my friend Suzanne sent me a text message to let me know that it's 70 degrees in San Francisco.
So cruel.

I feel your pain. My mom called from Palm Springs...in the pool with a pina colada hand.
So, so cruel.
Good luck with both fundraising and training! You can do it!!
