First Training Week Down . . .

. . . 15 more to go! Trained consistently this week but damn, I wish I started earlier. Ran, er struggled through 5 miles outside today. Twenty-six seems pretty impossible right now.

I don't remember being this scared the first time around. Naive. Didn't Yoda say something about that?

You still have a lot of time, Jenn. Keep up the good work.

By the way, if you are looking for a little support, come join us at the Virtual Run Club. I revamped it a little so now there is not really a set schedule for running--you just gotta get your runs in. It might help keep you going!

Jenn - You can do it. I hear ya on impossible, but keep plugging along. It was easier last year because we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into!

Hi Jenn. I just wanted to remind you to e-mail me your blogger e-mail address so I can add you to the VRC. E-mail me at chris(at)edmondsitedesign.com. Thanks!

Thanks guys, and Chris, you have a new member. I expect my first post on wwww.virtualrunclub.com tonight.

Karin - - C'mon, let's get another Chicago runner at the VRC!

Oooo! I wanna be in the VRC! I'm going email Chris.

Jenn, not PF! I had plantar faciitis (or however you spell it) last year. I ended up getting orthotics & they helped. Stretching helps too, so does freezing water in a dixie cup, or using an ice cube and rubbing it on the bottom of your foot a few times a day. But, let us know how the evaluation goes too..

Alright, Jenn, I just emailed Chris. And yeah, I say we petition for a 6 pm marathon start. I think everyone would be better off!
